1949 Tootsietoy 3pc. Fire Chief Set In Factory Sealed Bag
Fresh from the Donald Kaufman (owner KB Toys) collection comes this 3-piece die cast Fire Chief Set still factory sealed in its original bag with header card. Still mounted to its now yellowed die cut card is a bright red Mercury Sedan with silver highlights. "Fire Chief" is embossed in raised letters just to the rear of the emergency roof light. It has black rubber tires and has never been off the card. Also included is an embossed tin litho "Junior Fire Chief" badge with brass finish. It has a safety-pin on the back and like the Sedan has never been off the card. And last is a matching, bright red die cast Fire Chief helmet. Like the other two components it's always been on the card. The toys plus card come factory sealed inside a clear plastic bag. The seam runs right down the center between the car and the other two pieces. It's sealed all along the bottom except for a ½" opening of the seam in the lower left corner. It's not torn. The standard paper stock header card is two sided and printed in full color. It's original 39¢ price was marked down to 36¢.
